This fine art photographic series is intended to be reminiscent of dreams and imagination, representing a stage of innocence and purity, which is not of this world but of celestial spheres.
The hair and clothing floating in the water in a very delicate way, the porcelain white skin and the subdued color palette almost like the color of a memory, contribute to these ethereal dream-like scenes created for this series of photographs. The photo shoots took place in different locations, including a bathtub, pool, ocean, river and other natural environment.
During my adolescent years, I often had dreams that would transport me to serene places, sometimes it would feel as if I was flying feeling the gentle air on my face or just floating on water, it was always very peaceful and quiet, the only sound I was able to hear was that of my own breathing and the wind blowing. I would describe them as magical moments when the light and the air seemed to vibrate, as if the universe was taking a breath.
These peaceful and calm journeys remained with me as I transitioned from a stage of relative innocence into adult life. When I try to think of my adolescent years, I like to think of these undisturbed moments in which I felt safe and free, I am reminded of this state, which I always wanted to convert into photographs.
These images are to a certain degree reflections on my own life, reflections of simpler times, memories and dreams. The images are about the innocence of youth and times often forgotten.
